Answers, Plus! Educational Services is a small, local tutorial company. We’ve been offering affordable tutorial services for more than two decades! Based in Encinitas, our office is a friendly and supportive space for all students.

We help elementary, junior high, and high school students from school districts like: San Dieguito Union High School District (SDUHSD), Encinitas Unified, Carlsbad, Santa Fe Christian, Cathedral, Del Norte, Sage Creek, and the San Diego Jewish Academy (SDJA).
Cities We Serve
In fact, we’ve helped students and families from all across North San Diego County, including: Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Encinitas, Leucadia, Olivenhain, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Carlsbad, Carmel Valley, Rancho Santa Fe, and Fairbanks Ranch. But we also have a long history of helping students who live beyond North County San Diego–a few students even traveled all the way from Murrieta and Temecula to come work with us!
Our History
Serving North County since the ’90s
In 1994, Cindy Fox founded Answers, Plus!. As a credentialed teacher, Cindy is an expert educator. She has more than 44 years of public and private education experience. She has worked with thousands of San Diego students from all over the county.
As a parent and teacher, she understands the challenges of today’s classroom. She knows what a big difference tutoring can make for students and their parents. She knows how quickly students can go from struggling to succeeding with just a little after-school help.
Cindy inspires her students with her passion for learning. She has helped students do it all, and she can’t wait to help you, too.
Our Office
Located in the coastal community of Encinitas, the Answers, Plus! Office is close to several local elementary schools, junior high schools, and high schools, making it a standout location for our busy students and parents.

No. All of our tutorials take place in our beautiful Encinitas office.
Our tutors always give our students individual coaching. We limit our tutorials to two students per tutor. Students are always paired with the same tutor, and we never rotate teachers. We need our tutors to know their students, especially their unique learning styles and classes. Building a strong tutor-student relationship is critical for student success, so we always make it our top priority.
No, testing is not required. If a student needs a skill reinforcement program, we do have diagnostic testing available to help pinpoint strengths and weakness. But testing is never required to start regular tutoring.
Nope. All of our regular tutorials are on a month-to-month basis. No contract or long-term commitment required!

This is our most popular program for students looking to boost their scores for the SAT and/or ACT tests. It’s open to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors and covers a variety of testing strategies and topics. Learn more about it here.
They are the standardized tests that colleges use to assess the academic skills of students. The SAT is a separate test from the ACT. Each test has their own scoring rules and strategies.
Our College Prep Tutorials offer semi-private SAT, ACT, or SAT Subject Test prep. Like all our services, these tutorials are held in our Encinitas office. If you would like to learn more about this option, contact us right away!
We teach both! Our SAT & ACT Seminars cover both the SAT and the ACT in an action-packed 9 class Seminar–no wonder why it’s our most popular college prep program! And for students who want a semi-private approach with more flexible scheduling, we have College Prep Tutorials.
We offer SAT & ACT Seminars during the school year and during summer.
During the school year, we schedule Seminars on weekend mornings and afternoons: Saturday mornings and afternoons, Sunday mornings and afternoons, and occasionally Friday afternoons.
Over summer, we schedule Seminars on weekday mornings and afternoons (M–F), depending on demand.
