What are the SAT & ACT Tests?

 In

They are two different standardized tests. You can think of them as measurement tools for colleges. In the same way people use rulers to measure small distances, colleges use the SAT & ACT to measure the academic readiness and skills of students. Both tests have sections on math, reading, English, and writing, but they are very different. For example, the ACT has a section on science, while the SAT does not. Plus, they use different scoring systems just to make things extra confusing. To learn more about the SAT test, visit the official College Board website here.
